AI Personas? What’s that?
What are you doing?
Designing a persona agent is different than designing utility. Personas are generally designed to simulate human interaction. They have some aspect of emotional responsiveness, however it extremely limited. This makes them great for customer service, story-telling and interactive media.
Why are you doing this?
Reasonable and ethically personas should be fulfilling a role that is assistive to human endeavors. Persona construction should not by design cause harm to people.
To achieve a good persona structure you are fulfilling a need that is generally not met by a person or not possible through other means. So, if you are doing what is necessary for a proper persona design then you are accelerating and increasing the benefit of existing human tasks.
Where & Who is doing this?
You can look forward to in the near future to WHAT THE LLM working in concert with its resources to develop tutorials, templates and resource libraries not limited to but including books, audio books, guides and assistive agents.
